I Like to Look for Rainbows, Part 4 of 4

I am so glad that spring is finally here! I have my whole garden and a bunch of flowers to plant so my next few kits might be a little slow but I promise they will come.... Every year we go camping to the same place for memorial day-

I am so excited for this trip but I dare say it will be an interesting one, a friend of ours went snowmobiling a few weeks ago... on our campsite hopefully the snow has melted by this weekend. My little guy is crawling everywhere and I am a little worried that he will be bear cooped up in the camper if the weathers bad.

Now for our final part of I Like to Look for Rainbows.

I Like to Look for Rainbows- PART 3 of 4

I hope you all got the chance to check out the great freebies last week at Scrap Orchard. They only kept 1/2 of the designers to go to round two and I didn't make it =(. Strangly enough I am not as disapointed as I would have thought.

I started designing in the first place out of frustration that I couldn't find what I was looking for- Particularly LDS themed kits. I wan't to design stuff that is unique- stuff I like. It was very hard for me to pick from the color choices they provided and even harder for me to come up with something unique. Honestly my Daisy May kit was one of my own least favorite of my kits. I really prefer deciding on a good theme and then coming up with colors that fit.

I am really glad I participated- I learned alot and had fun too. I think that it is great to see the varied styles that people have when digiscrapping- Some of the kits that made it to the next round were not ones that I myself would use and there were others cut that I thought were pretty good. I am planning on keeping a close eye on the contest and will post previews of my personal picks here for you.

Now enough with my rambling and on to what you are all here for anyway.... Some of the papers are similar to those in other parts but have a fuzzy- more grungy edge to them. Happy scrappn'!

I Like to Look for Rainbows Kit

Wow- I cannot believe how long it has been since I posted a freebie! I spent a lovely week up in the mountains at our condo organizing my pictures and digital files and catching up on my little guy's scrapbook. I planned on putting out this freebie when I got home but as I mentioned in my previous post got distracted with the Bloggy Giveaway which took at my best guess 20+ hours out of my week.

Over 800 blogs participated- By my guess I entered over 500- much to my surprise I won 6 of the giveaways! A wonderful package with items from bath and body including a sweetpea wallflower YUM! from the McGinnis Message. A set of adorable bows from the Gourmet Mom on the Go. 50 much needed digital prints from The Glass Half Full. A way Yummy looking cookbook from Michelle's family life. An adorable kids book "Let Me Hold You Longer" from Real Life. And an one of Laurie's beautiful POSH plates. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE FOR THE GREAT GIVEAWAYS!

There will be another Bloggy Carnival in a couple of months watch Don'ttryit.com for more details...

And now for your freebie..... One of my lovely readers gave me the idea for a "I Like to Look for Rainbows" theme based on the LDS primary song (click here for lyrics). There will be 3 or 4 more parts to this kit- the rest will be more general with a rainbow theme.
