I Like to Look for Rainbows- PART 3 of 4

I hope you all got the chance to check out the great freebies last week at Scrap Orchard. They only kept 1/2 of the designers to go to round two and I didn't make it =(. Strangly enough I am not as disapointed as I would have thought.

I started designing in the first place out of frustration that I couldn't find what I was looking for- Particularly LDS themed kits. I wan't to design stuff that is unique- stuff I like. It was very hard for me to pick from the color choices they provided and even harder for me to come up with something unique. Honestly my Daisy May kit was one of my own least favorite of my kits. I really prefer deciding on a good theme and then coming up with colors that fit.

I am really glad I participated- I learned alot and had fun too. I think that it is great to see the varied styles that people have when digiscrapping- Some of the kits that made it to the next round were not ones that I myself would use and there were others cut that I thought were pretty good. I am planning on keeping a close eye on the contest and will post previews of my personal picks here for you.

Now enough with my rambling and on to what you are all here for anyway.... Some of the papers are similar to those in other parts but have a fuzzy- more grungy edge to them. Happy scrappn'!

I agree with you that some of the picks weren't the ones I would have chosen. Your daisy may kit was one of the top picks for me, but I hear you on being limited by an already chosen palate. I enjoy the kits you make and think you do an amazing job! Thanks agian!
